National Bowling League 2006!

Humm, went to watch those bowlers play at Victor's bowl today, cos one of my friend is in the competition, so went to see him play too.

All type of bowlers, but mostly playing right hook and minority playing spinner and left hook. Still got buffet lunch provided. Interesting to see different type of bowlers play, all got their own style/pattern, some rise their ball so high up and still afraid it may drop on their own head (^O^) to gain more speed and some twist their wrist till like going to be deform/twisted to gain more rev on the ball.

Be picking up bowling as a hobby, will be playing with a pro friend who i met during my temp job with M1. Most likely will be going to Hougang Superbowl on fri nite.

Watched "Typhoon"  yesterday nite, better than expected.

Family Outing!!!

Went to watch movie(i not stupid2) with my family today, its been a long long time since i went to movie with my parents... cant even remember the last time i went with them...Think abt 20yrs ago bah, when e movie ticket still cost $2.50 and the cinema that we went to had already been demolished  long ago and a condo was build on that piece of land. Well, seen that i have been having more family outing with my parents and relatives(Aunts & cousins) more frequently nowadays...Humm, thats good.

When out with 3 of my secondary sch classmates yesterday, watched 'FD3' at 1925hrs at plaza sing. Boring show, just a story on how those ppl die. Watched 'The Fog' a few days back, thought its not that good liao, then FD3 is worst than that...haiz....After our movie, we went to Marina country club karaoke, too bad no room. Ended up at Jalan Kayu eating prata then go back home...Life's of 4 lonely souls...muahahahaha... was talking about BGR, why SG population has more ladies than men and we are still singles. ('_')? Humm...think just that we haven meet up with our other 'half' bah...hahahaha...lifes still goes on... Then one of them was talking about planning for a class gathering this year, but due to past experience, i advice him to collect money first before he book the place, such as chalet etc...cos some of them will surely 'put aeroplane' =(

On friday, found a chance to review my career with my immediate manager, was talking about when can i change my job's scope to ME instead of doing TO job. Since my Senior Manager told me that once i completed my current project(which is finishing soon, perhaps in a week), i be able to go over and start learning from product development area. My designation is ME and not TO. Wao, her respond is good sia, told me that the project i am doing now is also product development cos in the construction technology, there is not much of so call product development and i be able to learn from the project i handling now as i be able to figure out a more practical and productivity way to do things. In other words, i be stuck with what i be doing now at the moment. Which is not what i wanted. Will try to find a chance to talk to my Senior Manager in the coming week and see what his reply will be.

Played pool on thursday with 2 of my childhood friends. Knew them for 20 years and counting. Was talking to them about how each one of us is doing.  Me and 1 of them was thinking of choosing ITE lecturer as our next career move. Then the other one was just started working for his dad's company. Then one of them was talking about getting a picanto weekend car which cost about $200/mth for installment over 10yrs. The other one already got a Altis from his dad. Was very tempted to get a car too...but come to think about the practical usage for me......i better think twice, cos its a long term commitment and i dont really need a car at this moment, its just a 'Want', not a 'Need' for me.

Re-designated!

Will be re-designated from Technical Officer to Marketing Executive=) guess will be staying in my current company for another year or two. The best part is that i am the only Marketing Exec in my company =S Can consider as an SME, wif 200-300 employees. Haiz...But need to finish my current project on hand first... Will be looking very much forward in my new position... Section i be joining has only 2 persons there only(excluding me), one is the Product Development manager, the other one is Sales Exec...guess will be fun and challenging^-^

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Has been very busy for the past 2 weeks liao, think it will last another week or 2. Almost OT everyday, till i sick sia. Feel like underpaid and overworked. Burned my mood for outing  on Christmas and NYE, too tired to go out=(
If my salary is not being adjusted  based on my newly obtained degree...Think I better be looking forward to a new job=D

Just watch a mid-nite movie yesterday, Derailed, better than i expected. Worth e money. Just 1st week of opening yet theres's no crowd. brought e ticket in the last 5mins still can get e seats i wanted, center-back seating. The people there, including me is only about 10% of the whole hall... Also watch Blood and Bones last week, just no time and mood to write till now. Kinda pervert movie, abt a man who is kinda of violent and have a craving for mistress. And ppl around e areas r afraid of him.

Kinda disappointed with my internet service provider, they actually suspend my internet cable connection just becos i have an overdue amount of $64 for 1 mth. Reason given was that now its computerised to suspend any acc which has any outstanding balance. Kao, then i also asked him abt what if i have outstanding by $1 or a few cents. Answer given was it will also be suspended.  I was paying using IB and used to pay by rounding down to nearest $10. There was no issue for my previous Internet suscription and Mobile Phone payment so far. Have tried once not to pay my phone bill for 3 mths also like that, they just sent me a reminder letter. Its sound stupid lor. To suspend a customer connection becos of a dollar or a few cents! Reconnection fee was waived for this time and next time will be $10.
Well, so call improved and advanced technology to increace effectiveness and efficiency.  How great, and lack of flexibility.

Bored!

Well, been 2 weeks in my new section liao...Seen to be doing almost e same thing except in different area. Same old scheduling...sianz..... Time to lookl out for new areas which i can excel in... Need some CHANGES... If not i may be stuck here forever doing e same thing sia...=(

SOOooooo....boring at home sia...dun know where to go also...Argh....

Change of Section...

Humm, was changed to another section. From 15 ppl section to 2ppl only section, if my partner not here then i jia lat liao. Some more throw me somethings that i never done b4, say its e same and ask me to do. Wah kao, where got e same. i saw e drawing i almost fainted...been there for 2yrs and never see such drawing b4. Its so different between cast-in-situ and precast. one got only 2 sectional view and e precast one got 4 diff direction view on top of e sectional view. Still have to compare wif e original drawing for e reinforcement detail....SOooo...troublesome. But e gd point is, its much more direct in one way. Well, still new stuff to me, just wait and c how it goes bah.

Holidays Over...

Exam is finally over...
Humm...but going back to work on Mon, after 4 mths of no pay leave. SianZ...Wondering what projects i be getting. Anyway, already told my management that i do not wish to do scheduling all the time. Too technical and stress also. Got everything right no one praise, just something wrong then will scold/blame all e way. Threaten to complain to MD lah, want to claim for losses lah etc...sick of it liao. Typical of all e black sheeps, but there are also good one in the industry. 
Wish to do something related to what i study for my adv dip and degree bah. If not always do technical stuff which is more relevant to my dip obtained. Then whats e point of studying so much for...waste time and money.
Anyway, once i comfirmed my cert after getting my exam result in Dec, and if i still doing the same things, i be looking for another job bah. There are so much options out there, just want to gain more exposure and learn more things.

Humm... coming friday will be my last paper. Finally, after so many yrs of study, its going to be over soon...Hope can clear all e modules this sem. But not very confident abt e paper last Fri, they changed e exam format again...Wonder y my batch so sua one, always kana this type of things. Not e first time liao=( 

Sleep E Whole Day...

Well, think today i have made another personal record liao. I actually slept e whole day sia, even that exam is coming and i still relaxing. Other classmates are panicking while i still sleeping, tell them also dun know they believe me or not...muahahahahaha...Also has been thinking of......

Humm...let me recall, sleep at abt 3am last nite, woke up at abt 10am, ate my breakfast and went back to sleep again. 1.30pm my mum woke me up for lunch...after that sleep again, then woke up at abt 7.30pm for dinner...watch tv...then my classmate Andy called me at abt 8.45pm...talk till abt 9pm...log on internet to check email and write this till now=) Its 10pm now=)
Haiz...sleeply again...think i be going back to sleep after writing this.

In term of 24hrs, think i have beem sleeping e portion for 3 days=) Has been sleeping for abt 20hrs out of 24. =P
